Review:
Little Falls, New Jersey is not to be confused with Little
Ferry, New Jersey. While both towns are not that far apart
from each other, and don't smell all that differently from
one another, the latter was once home to the infamous
"Rosie's Diner" which was aquired at a very reasonable cost
by Michaganite diner sculptor and entrepanuer Jerry Berta
and moved some 1000 miles west. Little Ferry now lacks a
diner of any significance although it once housed what is
now one of the most famous diners in the world.

Little Falls, on the other hand, is currently home to a
charming new, big red and stainless steel product of New
Jersey's extant diner manufacturer, Kullman Industries. It
sits alongside six lanes of New Jersey State Highway 46 a
major vehicular artery in Passaic County which is clogged
with endless traffic at any hour of day or night. Passers
by may opt to stop at this aluring modern retro diner and
clog their arteries with the enticing high fat, high
calorie staples which diners everywhere are so famous for.

...But then again, this is New Jersey, the diner state, and
within its boundaries, the word "diner" takes on a new
meaning. New Jersey diners are big and have big menus with
options to please every type of patron, including those who
are calorie and vegetarily concious, hence, the large
selection "Gourmet Salads" which the Park West Diner so
proudly advertises on a banner draped across the base of
its big sign. There is the standard Chef's Salad, two
sizes of Greek Salads complete with Kalamata olives,
stuffed grape leaves and pita bread, a Spinach salad which
optionally may be topped with blackened steak or shrimp,
two different Arugula salads, a Mediterranean Salad, a
Southwestern Chicken salad served in a tortilla shell, and
a few others that I just didn't commit to memory.

If you are in New Jersey, want to go to a diner, and are in
the mood for a Gourmet salad, this is definetely the place
to go.

However, if you are in the area, and want a simple but
excellent and sinful breakfast in a beautifully-preserved
historic diner, you may want to consider the Teamsters
Diner in Fairfield which is five or so miles West of Little
Falls.	You will have to get off Route 46 at Fairfield
Avenue and drive 1/2 mile south.
